Children enjoyed activities last Friday to mark the Coronation of King Charles III including making crowns and having an indoor picnic (pictures are in the Coronation news article on the school website). Our very supportive governors and academy trust members have very kindly given funding to buy each child a commemorative mug. Commander James Oliver initially approached our Chair of Governors, Mr Richard Twallin, with the idea and very generously gave half of the funds to purchase the mugs.
We would like to extend our thanks to all who gave and we know that children will treasure this memento of the special occasion.
