Admission Procedures for Sir Robert Geffery’s CofE Primary School
If you are interested in your child joining us, we recommend and welcome visits to our school. Please contact us through the school office to arrange this.
The school’s admission number for the Reception Year is 30. We will be hosting an open day in the Summer of 2025 for those looking to start September 2026, you will be given a guided tour and have the opportunity to ask any questions.
If your son or daughter will be turning 5 years old between September 2026 and August 2027 (born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022), they could join our exciting school starting in the Reception class in September 2026. The admissions deadline is 15 January 2026.

There are many ways in which we settle children in well to the school family even before they start here, including the supportive parent and child meetings with the Reception teacher and children’s half-day taster sessions in the summer term before starting – more information about these will be shared with prospective parents when they visit to look around the school.
