Children have enjoyed looking at the new display in our hall.
Fellow children shared pictures of themselves enjoying a good read and some wrote snippets to show a taste of their story telling skills.
Also, teachers described the various ways that they use their reading skills in a ‘typical’ day. It has been great to see children look at the pictures of teachers enjoying their books, as well as using their reading skills for every day work and tasks. We love reading at SRG and we ask adults to talk about their own reading with children to help further motivate and inspire them.
