The Year 6 children enjoyed a further experience to support secondary transition on the morning of Monday 28th November with several Key Stage 3 taster lessons at Callington Community College. They enjoyed using DSLR cameras and learning about manipulating viewpoints the exciting photography department. They used maths skills, including learning about Pi and an introduction to sicentific calculators for programming real life Lego robot vehicles and they learnt about the pH of chemicals whilst experiencing a Science lab, along with observing the bright burning of magnesium.
They were great ambassadors for the school and came away very excited about their bright futures ahead!
