We are excited to say that SRG has a number of roles available. 
Sir Robert Geffery’s Primary School is a friendly, welcoming and nurturing school, with an emphasis on supporting each and every individual child to achieve their potential, in a loving environment that promotes high standards and provides a broad and inclusive curriculum.

Teacher training

The School-Based Initial Teacher Training route is for anyone wishing to train as a teacher who has a degree (in any subject) and is able to commit to a one-year on the job training programme working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recommendation. The training is based in school, and is similar in many ways to training programmes in universities and colleges. We work in partnership with Marjon’s University Plymouth for accreditation of our course and our trainees have been successful in going on to secure jobs at a variety of primary schools in the area.
