What an unforgettable week our Year 6 children have had on their London residential!
From stepping into the air conditioned magic of the Harry Potter Studios for an inspiring literacy workshop, to exploring the wonders of the Natural History Museum and Science Museum; taking in breathtaking views from the London Eye; cruising along the River Thames; challenging themselves during a fantastic watersports day at Lee Valley; visiting the magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral and ending the week in style with a banquet and sleepover at Ironmongers’ Hall – every day was packed with adventure, learning and memories to last a lifetime.
They also did it all during a heatwave! Their resilience, positivity and determination shone through every challenge. They supported one another, stepped outside their comfort zones, built confidence, strengthened friendships and truly embodied what it means to work as a team.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff team, whose care, enthusiasm, patience and tireless efforts to adapt to the weather made this amazing experience still possible. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they did to ensure the children had such a safe, memorable and enriching week.
