Thanks to the incredible generosity of several local sponsors, we have recently been able to completely reline and refill our play sandpit.
We would like to extend a massive thank you to our amazing donors who made this project possible:
~ Wickes
~ Councillor Paul Cador
~ The Co-op
~ Sir Robert Geffery’s Preschool
Their generous grant donations allowed us to purchase all the resources needed to bring this brilliant play space back to life for our children to enjoy.
Buying the sand was one thing, but getting 2 tonnes of it down to the farm was another challenge entirely!
Demonstrating our fantastic school teamwork, children from across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 joined forces to tackle the job. The children formed a massive human chain, filling up beach buckets and passing them down the line with incredible enthusiasm.
The new sandpit looks fantastic and is ready for plenty of creative play. A huge well done to all of our hard-working children, and another heartfelt thank you to our wonderful community sponsors for investing in our outdoor spaces!
