We are delighted to share our thanks to the Friends and Farm Committee for their generous funding of a brand-new water play wall in our EYFS outdoor area.
This fantastic new resource has already become a favourite with our youngest children. The water play wall supports learning through play, helping children to develop fine motor skills, problem-solving, cooperation and language as they explore water flow, pouring and cause and effect. It also provides a wonderful sensory experience and encourages children to spend time outdoors in all weathers – something we really value here at SRG.
The water play wall has been expertly designed and created by Chris from Godbolt Woodwork, whose craftsmanship results in a high-quality, durable and engaging feature that will be enjoyed for many years to come.
This project is only possible thanks to the Friends and Farm Committee and the continued support of our parents and carers. Funds raised through school events and activities have directly contributed to enhancing our outdoor learning environment and we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s time, effort and generosity.
