WW2 Theme Day

Today, KS2 bought their World War 2 topic to life through five hands-on activities. The children explored a WW2 museum, took part in Army Boot Camp, experienced a simulated air raid, designed propaganda posters and learnt about food rationing. We even swapped the usual whistle for a real air raid siren when it was time to line up!

A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Bell for bringing in so many fascinating artefacts for the WW2 museum. The children learnt so much during the session, and it was a real treat for them to see genuine wartime objects up close.

Well done KS2 for getting stuck in and really embracing the day.
