On Monday, pupils took part in our fantastic School Council’s Dance and Donate for Uganda, where we danced the Jerusalema all morning long!
Each year group took their turn in the marquee, showing off their moves with great enthusiasm, before coming together for an uplifting and energetic whole-school finale.
A big shout-out to Mr White, who didn’t stop dancing all morning, and to the amazing Year 5 demo teams who led the way with confidence and flair. Well done to every year group for giving it their all and making the morning so special.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs Unwin, our fantastic dance teacher for the day, who kept us all in time and moving to the beat. And of course, thank you to you – our incredible parent community – who have helped raise a staggering £2,317.66!
These generous donations will have a huge impact at Ikona Hillside, helping to fund teachers and provide vital equipment to support education for local children.
Well done, everyone – you danced for a purpose and truly made a difference!
