Ancient Greece Day
Children in Key Stage 2 had another wonderful morning here at SRG last week. This half term’s Ancient Greece topic included learning across the curriculum – writing, reading, Art and humanities. To celebrate and have a memorable end to the topic, they were mixed with children from other classes to enjoy different activities on our special Ancient Greece day.
There were a range of exciting learning activities such as preparing and tasting Greek tzatziki, learning traditional Greek dancing, solving a maths-related Greek maze and using the Greek alphabet to write names and greetings in Greek. The costumes of the children and staff were fantastic and a wonderful day was had by all.
