SRG Leads the Way in Exciting Residential Adventures

At SRG, we are proud to offer our pupils enriching experiences that spark adventure, build confidence, and encourage personal growth beyond the classroom.

Our Year 6 pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable five-day tour of London. Their itinerary included a grand banquet at the prestigious Ironmongers’ Hall, immersive visits to the Natural History Museum and Science Museum, a thrilling day of water sports at an activity centre, and a stunning ride on the London Eye – just a few highlights from an inspiring and educational trip.

Year 5 headed to PGL Barton Hall for three days of high-energy activities. From soaring on a zip wire to taking on the vertical climbing wall and giant swing, the pupils pushed their limits with courage and enthusiasm. They also took part in archery, survival skills, and aeroball, all while showing strong teamwork and encouraging one another throughout.

Year 4 enjoyed a one-night adventure at Dittisham, a long-standing SRG favourite. The children loved rafting on the river and zipping through the air on the zip wire – a perfect mix of fun and challenge.

Earlier in the year, Year 3 embarked on their first overnight trip to Dewerstone. Despite cold and windy weather, the children bravely climbed to the summit, displaying remarkable independence and resilience.

These residential trips are a testament to SRG’s commitment to a comprehensive education, helping children discover their strengths, support one another, and create lasting memories through shared adventure.
