On 15th November, SRG took part in the National Younger Leadership Group Conference – hosted by the Archbishop of York. The Head and Deputy Head children with Mr Brodey (one of our trainee teachers) participated in an online Zoom meeting with over 100 different schools around the country – all of which are Church of England Schools. The focus of the meeting was for young people and future leaders to discuss what the church means and what they would like to see from the future of the church. The children gave great ideas and contributed to the strategic development of the Church of England. One child commented “We really enjoyed contributing to the discussions around improving the church”. Well done to all involved.
