SRG Eco-Committee members from years three, four, five and six, along with representatives from our after School Eco Club, attended the Eco-Conference at the Methodist Church, Truro on Wednesday. The children learnt about different aspects of Creation Care, sustainable energy, recycling and environmentally friendly planting and growing methods. They were great ambassadors for our School and told the other children and visitors about some of the things that we do here at SRG – on our farm, in our Eco club and just some of the ways that we have achieved ‘Eco Schools Distinction’. They will be sharing some of their learning with children around school over the coming weeks.
