Four children, as representatives from the 2024/25 Worship Committee, went to Truro Cathedral this week with Mr O’Hara and Izzy Williams (one of our super governors) to be part of a very special planning event.
They, along with groups of children from C of E schools around Cornwall, helped in the planning of the Service of Commissioning for those working in and for Schools in Cornwall. The service, taking place next Thursday, will be led by The Bishop of Cornwall, the Rt Rev David Williams, and children from the schools … including children from SRG!
The ideas, energy, knowledge and teamwork these pupils displayed was incredible and we know it will come together into what will be a very special act of worship at Truro Cathedral next week.
