KS2 representatives from the SRG Eco Committee and Eco after school club attended a special event at Truro Cathedral on Wednesday organised by the Truro Diocese group of Church of England schools.
The children presented in front of approximately 20 other schools and numerous charities and companies from around Cornwall, telling everyone about some of the great Eco work that they lead here at SRG. They also learnt Cornish names for wild birds, learnt about insect pollinators, enjoyed making bird feeders and seed bombs and shared breaktime biscuits with those from other schools. They are bringing back lots of ideas to further support our drive for sustainability and looking after creation.
