Congratulations to all pupils who took part in Mrs Suckling’s Summer Concert on Wednesday evening. As usual, a vast array of pupils’ musical talents were on show, with pianists ranging from Year 2 to Year 6, showcasing emerging pianists right up to pupils preparing for piano exams, from the Prep Test up to Grade 2. It was great to see and hear the confidence, resilience and performance skills displayed by our pupils and to observe how far some have come since they first began.
The pianists were joined by our fantastic choir, which was bigger than ever with so many of Year 2 now attending! The standard of singing was wonderful and the last rousing chorus of ‘Cornwall my Home’ bought a tear to many an eye. It takes courage to perform to a hall full of people, so all pupils should feel very proud of themselves.
